The “AgroGreen Bursa Agriculture, Livestock, Dairy, Greenhouse Technologies, Seed-Seedling-Sapling and Livestock Fair,” organized by GL Platform Fair Organization with the support of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), will open its doors at the Bursa International Fair Center from October 8-11, 2025.
Bringing together all stakeholders in the sector, AgroGreen Bursa will host over 500 brands and nearly 250,000 visitors. The fair will be a multifaceted platform where technologies, practices, and international collaborations shaping the future of agriculture and livestock will be discussed. With AgroGreen, Bursa will become the home not only of agricultural production but also of a new vision focused on agricultural economics, scientific development, and investment.
Bursa's Vision for Agriculture
Speaking at a press conference held at the Bursa International Fair Center, BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay described AgroGreen as not just an exhibition but a summit to discuss the strategic future of agriculture and livestock. “We must stop viewing agriculture solely as production,” Burkay said. “Agriculture is now a strategic area at the heart of security, prosperity, diplomacy, and health,” he said, emphasizing that AgroGreen is one of the first steps toward this vision. Highlighting the imbalances in food access worldwide, Burkay noted that 800 million people lack access to regular food, yet demand is increasing annually. “This contradiction demonstrates that agriculture is not only a matter of economic importance but also of survival.”
A Global Meeting Point
Burkay explained that they are taking initiatives to attract international buyers to Bursa, as well as forming domestic purchasing committees. He shared his goal of making AgroGreen a global gathering. “We see that arid regions in various cities around the world can have a global voice in agricultural technologies. Bursa has the natural advantages to achieve this. We want to transform this fair into a transformational space,” he said, adding that they would be pleased to bring together academia, public institutions, and entrepreneurs under one roof. He invited all industry stakeholders to AgroGreen Bursa.
Buyer Delegations from 20 Countries, 250,000 Visitors
AgroGreen Bursa will host buyer delegations from countries such as Germany, Italy, Azerbaijan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Ghana, and Gambia. Accommodation and reception services for international buyers will be organized by GL Platform.
500-kilometer Transportation Network
GL Platform will offer free transportation to the fair for farmers and producer groups within a 500 km radius of Bursa to participate as visitors. The fair, which is expected to attract over 250,000 professional visitors in total, will also contribute directly to the city’s economy. The “Agriculture Congress,” held simultaneously with the agricultural summit, will discuss the future of agriculture at academic, public planning, and entrepreneurial levels. Papers will be presented on topics such as data-driven agricultural practices, carbon footprint-reducing livestock farming models, and environmentally friendly greenhouse technologies.
